The Story

When and Where? 

Every Wednesday @6pm at Gamers Guild NPHX

Description of campaign: 

The Emperor is gone. His monument remains.

Gnommon’s Pillar rises miles into the sky, a sprawling dungeon of shifting halls, sealed chambers, and ancient horrors that refuse to die. Expeditions have begun pushing deeper, mapping it floor by floor.

Not all of them return.

Some come back with relics.

Some come back with stories.

A few come back… changed.

Most don’t come back at all.

The Living Frontier is a West Marches-style campaign built for flexibility, exploration, and shared storytelling. Each session is a standalone expedition into the Pillar. No long-term commitment required.

Your mission is simple:
Go in. Survive. Discover what happened to the Emperor.
Perfect for first-time players and busy schedules.

Who: 

Beginner-friendly, open to all experience levels. Ideal for new players, drop-in adventurers, and anyone looking for a flexible weekly game.

Session Size: 

6 people max

For players:

Doors at 5:00 PM for onboarding and the game starts at 6:00 PM. Bring your own or Pre-gen Character Sheets are available. Sessions rules use D&D 5e / 5.5e with house rules. To keep the table balanced, characters are capped at 2 levels above the lowest-level player in the group.
